Anything But A Card at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good morning!  This week at 4 Crafty Chicks we are doing something different!  Lori is our hostess and she wants to see another side to our craftiness!

Lori chose the following theme:

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

For my project this week I had just finished this wreath for my office door:

Here is a close up of the hearts:

Now, after making the wreath I decided that I needed to take my snowman tree and turn it into a Valentine tree:

The picture isn't very good - but I fell in love with this as soon as it was finished!  I am going to try to keep this up each month and change it for the different seasons and holidays.  (We will see if I can manage that!)

So, head on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and see another side of crafting!  I can't wait to see what else everyone has been up to!

See you soon!

Happy Birthday Sport!

Good morning! Today is Thursday so I have a new project for the 4 Crafty Chicks!  This week Tamie is our Hostess with the Mostest!  She has asked for us to create something using the theme SPORTS.  Now, I am not a huge sports fan, but I always need cards for little boys and what a better theme!

Here is my quick and easy card using Tamie's theme:

Chevron (and something new!)

Good morning!  Welcome back!  I feel like I have been gone forever!!!  I am happy to say that I think I am finally fully recovered from my recent surgery...It has been a long few weeks!

This week I get to play hostess over at 4 Crafty Chicks!  I have chosen the theme of CHEVRON.  Pretty easy!

Well, I received a couple of new toys for Christmas - A new sewing machine and an embroidery machine!  I am having lots of fun playing with them!  So much fun in fact that I have kind of neglected my other toys (paper crafting supplies)!

Ok, so isn't this just the coolest thing ever!?  My embroidery machine does all the hard work - I just have to input the design from a flash drive and set it up and watch it go!  It is kind of mesmerizing!  After the monogram was completed I added the bright chevron ribbon using my new sewing machine!

Now, I promise to be back next week with some paper crafts - (I kind of have my eye on a new 3D project) but for this week I hope you enjoyed seeing something new!

Be sure to head over to 4 Crafty Chicks and enter your CHEVRON project today!  While you are there be sure to leave a little love for the rest of the Chicks!  They are just amazing!

See you soon!
